The Journey From Fear To Love
Hello! And thank you for being here. It is a pleasure and an honor to introduce you to the concepts and practices that helped me navigate hard times and gave me the confidence and trust to explore life recognizing that there is no other limitation that my own mind. We often take life too seriously; we get trapped in a storm of information that overpowers us. What I share here in "From Fear to Love" is a set of tools designed to empower you and give you access to your best self so you can remember who you truly are, a being of pure love, joy and happiness. This will hopefully bring more ease into your days, activating those parts of you that are dormant and expanding your consciousness to be fully receptive to the guidance you are meant to receive from life to make the best out of this experience. In this course I will introduce you to the main concepts of science that are now supporting what is being experienced since millennia through spirituality, we will explore different techniques, such as journaling for self-inquiry, breathwork, meditation, mantra chanting, and hypnosis, also rooting them in facts and real case studies so you get an idea of what is happening in your mind and body when doing the exercises. In my opinion science explains part of the picture; traditions offer complementary metaphors, and that is why I will also touch into teachings from different philosophies that I consider of great value. I am not religious but deeply spiritual and the Engineer inside of me is always keeping an eye on the science behind it. You can go through it at your own pace, nevertheless, my recommendation is for you to commit on finishing one chapter a day including the exercises and practices. This is for you to build a strong connection with yourself. Working consistently in the process will create momentum in the energy you are dedicating to it, making it easier for you, smoother and more potent if faced this way. Don't ask yourself if you want to do it, ask yourself if it is aligned with the version of you that you want to embrace. With who you want to become. Motivation is subjective; in moments of transition it becomes scarce, yet it is precisely then that more is required of us in order to elevate our level of consciousness.
How I Got Here
My name is Nico, I was born in Argentina and I have been traveling around the globe since 2018 visiting countries in South América, Europe, Asia and Oceania. I lived in Amsterdam, Australia, India and Sri Lanka for some time. Who knows what is next? I love moving around, I get very inspired by other souls that grew in environments completely different to the one I am from. At the end, we are all citizens of the world. At the age of 26 I left my country after working a couple of years as a Civil Engineer. As soon as I stepped out of the bubble I was in, I got to know breathwork and meditation pretty much at the same time and have been practicing since then. The techniques I was incorporating during these years through videos, audios and courses online and in person, where helping me navigate different situations faced along the way. But it was not until two years ago that I fully connected with them and realized the power behind them. I thought I knew myself a lot, but in 2023, after some time struggling with my partner at that time, she said to me during a conversation "do you know that the things you are describing could be related to narcissism?". I barely knew what that meant. I started reading about it, and what I found was a massive surprise for me. Almost everything I would read would be describing the feelings and thoughts I was experiencing. I was devastated, a thick veil came off and I could see how low was my self-esteem at that time, how much I was asking from her and how little I could see her for what she really was. I was living in a fantasy inside of my head. I was struggling to feel empathy and love for someone else, everything rooted in the way I perceived myself; I couldn't feel love for myself, and life was completely flat for me. Human connections would be empty and weak, my work was something I was doing to please others and all of my life was built around an image that wasn't really me. I felt lonely and separated from the rest of the world, I perceived everything and everybody as a threat. I was living in fear. I had to do something about it. After some time of being confused and disoriented, I fully accepted where I was and took the responsibility for being there. I ended the relationship, setting her free, knowing I was not good for her. In that moment I committed to not harm anybody else, and this really changed my perception. If I was to relate with someone, it would be to make their life better, not worse. When this happened, I had to deconstruct completely who I thought I was to rebuild the person I wanted to become. I faced a crisis of identity. Psychology helped me understand where I was, hard core sessions of Breathwork helped me remove the guilt and process all kind of emotions from the past, meditation kept me rooted in the present moment and helped me regulate my nervous system. In daily visualizations I would connect with the version of myself I wanted to create. I was consuming self-help books of different philosophies and religions, and started taking courses on the practices I connected the most with. It was not easy, but after a year fully committed to the process, few trainings on breathwork and meditation, a lot of practice on these techniques and many beautiful souls meet along the way, I managed to create a completely different reality to the one I was living back then. I am nowadays experiencing love in all shapes. I interact with people in a deeper, more genuine way, being honest with myself and expressing my truth one hundred per cent, without pretending to me someone else to please others.
Everything that is happening around us is a reflection of our inner world. You can't give what you don't give to yourself. The sooner we accept and start loving every part of who we are, the easier it becomes to love the world around us, family members, friends, lovers, animals, nature and so forth. And when that happens, it doesn't really matter what situation we are dealing with, we are able to pour love into it and get the best outcome, knowing that there is no good or bad, life just is, and is working on our favor. As Ram Dass wisely said: Life has been so spectacular since I committed to change, so full of colors, that I felt immensely called to spread the seeds of what I was shown, all the hours I spent investigating the ways to access a different reality are summarized in the next chapters. I hope with all my heart that you will find this guide helpful to achieve everything you deserve. To me, life is a game, a dream, an illusion, we are meant to be here to experience whatever comes our way and make decisions on our next moves, sometimes we get really involved in our own movie and we forget to enjoy. Please remember to take this process joyfully, you want to approach these activities with curiosity and certain level of commitment to see results, but you also want to enjoy the process. This is a set of skills that will help you navigate your days for the rest of your life. Be kind with yourself, make laugh of your mistakes, place a smile on your face for no reason to get that beautiful, cheeky childish feeling and have fun! For the sake of this course, you will be needing pen and paper, a notebook or your laptop to make notes and go through the exercises. You will find yourself asking some questions that will bring light to some unconcluded or unrooted thoughts in your mind, also finding direction when making decisions. Doing this process consciously will help you connect deeper with yourself, finding a sense of peace and alignment.
